-Around 2002 I returned to an early fondness for acoustic guitar and started doing gigs for the local wine industry with several groups, playing guitar, mandolin, & banjo
Photography
I started shooting professionally in 1982, and started getting some gallery representation in 1991. A lot of stuff happened for me and the profession generally, and I turned to music, my alternate passion, for a while. In 2009, I returned to shooting and processing large format work after several years of focussing on the music career. While the vegie and pig series were getting attention in the 90's, my recent work has been mostly landscape and vintage lens portraiture.
NOW... the two activities are existing side-by-side, with days like yesterday (2/2/2010) where I was shooting photos at daybreak on a beautiful ridge near where I live (seen Here), and then playing guitar with a great violinist in a very nice restaurant that evening ( Dry Creek Kitchen).
